Whether it’s your school, your business, or your personal life, clearly something isn’t working quite right. Here is a tip for change that will hopefully get you on track.
Start with a place you’re familiar with, maybe your bedroom, maybe where you’re sitting right now. Look around. Focus on the surface level things, ask yourself what you can do to make the room/space immediately better. Spend 10 minutes (no more than that) making improvements to each aspect of the room that you’re not happy with (maybe organizing books or dusting the shelves). Once you’re done, come back and read the rest.
The Key: Start where you can start.
When trying to scale large issues, it can be easy to get swallowed up in not knowing where to start or not seeing how one fix can have any effect. The idea is that if you can fix 100 LITTLE things, you’ll notice a BIG improvement. Your life will be significantly better than it was.
Maybe your social media isn’t getting the interaction you’re hoping for, or your portfolio is underperforming, or any of the other millions of reasons you may be feeling sub-optimal. Start with the smallest & easiest fix, then move to the rest. One by one. Before you re-do the entire kitchen, you should probably focus on cleaning the dirty dishes.
